Shipping a Display System to the Warehouse |
Many events offer the opportunity to ship in advance to the warehouse. For peace of mind, this is your best option. In this example, your show information says you can ship to the warehouse, but it must arrive by the 10th. It takes to 6 days to ship a case across the country by ground service. Express shipping large cases is costly, so ground shipping is a good choice. Avoid a schedule that has no allowance for set-backs (and / or incompetence). Allow an extra day if you can. The downside of shipping to the warehouse is the "drayage" charge the decorating company will charge. But we think the lower stress makes the fee a good investment. |

In the example above, your display system is scheduled to arrive on the 17th, which is |

the 5th transit day. Weekndend days do not count for transit. |
